Vintage Wine release; 2016 Mount Edward Pinot Noir

A  vintage wine for our cellar club,  limited  24 bottle release, first in first served.

Vintage 2016, a more typical growing year in Central Otago with lots of warm days and cool nights, a great cherry season with wines that exhibit similar fruit vibrancy and freshness of flavour. These are  classic Central Otago wines for their fruit profile in the red, blue fruits with medium weight concentration and some juicy acidity. Palate wise fruits have just started to evolve with some compote and spice, texturally these wines are now fully soft and supple, having developed elegance.

Perfect for those who like reds medium weight, some fruit profile but with softness and suppleness that only comes with a little age. Mature now with at least another 10 years left to evolve.
