Mount Edward Wine Club Terms and Conditions
- Membership Structure & Discounts
By joining the Mount Edward Wine Club, whether you’re in New Zealand or overseas, you agree to a one-year rolling membership. Your membership will automatically renew unless you let us know otherwise.
You’ve signed up for one of the following tiers:
• 3 Bottle Membership – 5% discount per shipment
• 6 Bottle Membership – 10% discount per shipment
• 12 Bottle Membership – 15% discount per shipment
If you don’t select your own wines, our winemaker will curate a seasonal selection for you.
By joining, you acknowledge and agree that your credit card will be charged four times per year, on the specific dates outlined in your email notification, which is sent three weeks prior to each shipment. You will also receive automated reminders two weeks and two days prior to the charge being processed. - Shipment & Billing Schedule
We send out wine four times a year: February, May, August, and November.
You’ll receive an email three weeks before each shipment is due to leave, giving you a heads-up and a chance to make any changes. If you’re a 6 or 12 bottle member, you’ll have the option to customise your selection at this stage.
We’ll also send you automated reminders:
• Two weeks before your card is charged
• Two days before your card is charged
Unless affected by unforeseen logistical delays, your credit card will be charged on the date specified in your initial email notification (and in the two-week and two-day reminders) during the months of February, May, August, and November. - Membership Commitment & Skipping Shipments
By signing up as a Mount Edward Wine Club member, you agree to a minimum commitment of four shipments (one full calendar year of membership).
You are entitled to skip a shipment by notifying us in writing or via your personalised Cellar Club account prior to the billing date. If you skip three consecutive shipments, your membership may be reallocated to another customer. - Delivery Timing
Wine is dispatched within 5 working days of payment being processed. - Shipping Costs
You authorise Mount Edward to charge your card for your Wine Club selections, including shipping when applicable. Shipping prices are reviewed annually in May and updated rates take effect from 1st July.
• For New Zealand members, standard domestic rates apply.
• For international members, shipping rates vary depending on your location. We’ll confirm details before your first shipment. - Cancelling Your Membership
After you have purchased four shipments, you’re free to cancel your membership at any time by emailing wines@mountedward.com or via your online cellar club account—just make sure it’s at least two weeks before a scheduled shipment. If received too late, your next shipment will still go ahead. - Keeping Your Details Up to Date
Please notify us of any changes to your delivery address. Costs to re-ship wine to the correct address will be passed on to you if changes are not updated in time. - Legal Drinking Age
By signing up, you confirm you are of legal drinking age in both your home country and the country of delivery. - Privacy & Contact
When you join the Mount Edward Wine Club or our mailing list, your contact details will be used to send updates about your membership, wine releases, and member-only events. We store this info securely and never share it with third parties. - Wine Selection & Availability
We reserve the right to adjust pricing, offers, and wine availability based on seasonal variations and stock levels. We will notify you of any significant changes before processing your order.
